A couple of weeks ago I went to the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa park. They have a delightful koi pond, and the Zoo also has a nice collection of gigantic koi. I was going to make a picture of koi, but decided to do a goldfish instead because I miss having an aquarium. I used to have one with a bunch of goldfish and a couple of clown loaches that got to be quite large. This was done on a Strathmore watercolor ATC.
